Rewards you say?

When they say work without thinking of the result or the reward at the end…….what if you were never meant to enjoy the reward anyway?

Just like a tree doesn’t enjoy its shade or the fruits and the flower doesn’t enjoy its fragrance or nectar?

If we knew we’re not meant to enjoy the reward, maybe it’ll help us focus better on the work at hand.

If the tree says, I made so much effort, photosynthesising and processing water and becoming a big tree from a single tiny seed. What did I gain from it…I created fruits & shade for others and when I die, will be used as fuel for others.

Now let’s say it becomes a huge tree and people revere it, do it’s puja, tie threads around it for their wishes….does it mean the tree can sit back and enjoy now? The day it stops continuing to become a bigger tree, that’s the day it’ll start dying !

Nature has given us a role to become different things by the kind of seed given to us. Let’s become the best from that seed and let others enjoy the rewards….we are enjoying others rewards making this a symbiotic relationship
